Quasar Expeditions is a renowned, family-owned luxury travel company based in Quito, Ecuador, specializing in safari-style adventures and small-ship cruises in the Galapagos Islands, as well as tours in Patagonia, Chile, Ecuador, and Peru. Founded in 1986 by Eduardo Diez and Dolores Gangotena, Quasar is a pioneer of luxury cruises in the Galapagos and was the first to offer such voyages in the region. With over 30 years of experience and more than 75,000 travelers guided, Quasar operates two primary vessels for Galapagos cruises: the Grace Yacht, which accommodates 16 guests and was formerly Grace Kelly’s honeymoon yacht, and the Evolution Yacht, which hosts 32 guests.
