On July 30, 2026, India’s Ministry of Tourism and IndiGo signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote inbound international travel to India.
The partnership combines the Ministry’s destination-marketing expertise with IndiGo’s broad domestic and international network. Its goal is to inspire more international visitors to experience India’s culture, heritage, spirituality, nature, adventure, cuisine, and leisure offerings.
For travel advisors in Canada and other international markets, the agreement supports easier planning of multi-destination India holidays, pairing well-known attractions with less-visited regions across the country.
“Incredible India by IndiGo” Campaign
At the centre of the agreement is the “Incredible India by IndiGo” campaign. It brings together the Ministry’s established Incredible India brand and IndiGo’s network to position India as a leading destination for a wide range of travel styles.
The campaign will promote:
- Cultural and heritage landmarks
- UNESCO World Heritage Sites
- Spiritual and pilgrimage journeys
- Adventure and nature travel
- Festivals, local cuisine, and regional experiences
- Beach holidays, wildlife safaris, and wellness stays
The initiative will feature both India’s signature destinations and regions that may be new to first-time visitors.

IndiGo Connectivity for Multi-City Itineraries
IndiGo’s network gives advisors more options to build efficient itineraries beyond the usual gateway cities of Delhi and Mumbai. Its domestic services can help reduce lengthy overland transfers between regions, making it easier to combine several experiences within one trip.
IndiGo’s codeshare relationships may also provide additional routing choices through major hubs such as London, Dubai, and Singapore, expanding access for long-haul travelers from Canada and other markets.
