The Zambia Tourism Agency (ZTA) is mandated to effectively market and promote Zambia as a preferred destination and regulating the sector. In addition to its marketing functions, the ZTA is responsible for licensing and grading accommodation establishments. The agency aims to maximize the country's potential as a leading global destination by focusing on strategic planning, marketing, and development initiatives that highlight the country's diverse tourism offerings. Zambia's main tourism products include wildlife, heritage, culture, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and adventure.
