TAP Air Portugal is the flag carrier and national airline of Portugal, headquartered at Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport, which is also its main hub. Founded in 1945 and starting operations in 1946, TAP now serves over 90 destinations in 34 countries across Europe, Africa, North America, and South America.

Since joining Star Alliance in 2005, this airline has expanded its reach through extensive codeshare agreements and offers frequent flyer benefits via its Miles&Go program.

The airline’s main fleet consists of Airbus aircraft, while regional routes are operated by TAP Express using Embraer planes. It provides a broad range of domestic, regional, and international flights, including direct routes from Lisbon to major cities in Canada and the United States such as Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Chicago, Miami, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.
