ABOUT
St. John’s International Airport (YYT) is the primary air gateway to Newfoundland and Labrador. Located just minutes from downtown St. John’s, it is the second-busiest airport in Atlantic Canada by passenger traffic. Its position near the Atlantic Ocean makes it the most easterly airport in North America. The St. John’s International Airport Authority (SJIAA), a private, not-for-profit corporation, operates the airport and manages its own revenue, capital, and taxes. The organization’s vision is to grow Newfoundland and Labrador’s economy and global reach, and its mission is to connect the province proudly with the world.
