Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia's new national airline, is set to launch in late 2025. Owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), it was officially announced by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in March 2023. The airline aims to transform air travel with a focus on luxury, sustainability, and innovation, establishing Saudi Arabia as a major global hub for business and tourism. Operating from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Riyadh Air plans to connect over 100 destinations worldwide by 2030, offering both domestic and international flights.
