The National Tour Association - NTA, is a leading trade association for packaged travel professionals who design and deliver tours to, from, and within North America. Founded in 1951, NTA serves a diverse global membership that includes tour operators and travel advisors, as well as destinations and tour suppliers. Its members represent more than 30 countries and cover a wide range of travel segments, from student and faith-based travel to culinary, family, and international inbound markets, with a strong emphasis on U.S. and Canadian destinations.
NTA’s mission is to lead the responsible growth of travel by connecting professionals, strengthening business relationships, and enhancing the traveler experience while considering community and environmental impacts. The association supports its members through education, research, advocacy, and business-development programs, along with signature events such as Travel Exchange and Contact. These initiatives bring buyers and sellers together to create new tour products, build partnerships, and support an industry that generates billions of dollars in annual tour sales.
