ABOUT

The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) operates under the Ministry of Tourism and Leisure. The MTPA's objectives include promoting Mauritius as a tourist destination. This is achieved by: conducting advertising campaigns and participating in tourism fairs; organizing promotional activities in collaboration with the local tourism industry, both in Mauritius and abroad; providing tourists with information on available facilities, infrastructure, and services in Mauritius; promoting cooperation with other tourism agencies; conducting research on market trends and opportunities, and sharing relevant statistical data about Mauritius; and advising the Minister on tourism promotion matters.
