Le Boat is the leading provider of self-drive boating vacations across Europe and Canada, with more than 50 years of experience and the world’s largest fleet of canal boats. The company was formed in the early 2000s from the merger of Blue Line (France), Connoisseur (UK), and Emerald Star (Ireland), and now operates over 900 boats in 18 cruising regions across eight European countries and Canada. As part of the Travelopia group, it is connected to the world’s largest collection of specialist travel brands.

Guests can rent fully-equipped boats ranging from two to five cabins, with no boating license or prior experience required—Le Boat provides all necessary training. Trips are highly flexible, with options for short breaks or extended vacations, round trips or one-way routes, and a wide variety of scenic waterways such as France’s Canal du Midi, Scotland’s Caledonian Canal, and Canada’s Rideau Canal.
