ABOUT
India Tourism operates under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, the agency for national tourism policy. It plans, coordinates, and implements strategies that promote the country’s cultural heritage, natural landscapes, and wellness offerings. Signature initiatives include the Incredible India campaign and the Atithi Devo Bhava program. These efforts strengthen destination branding, highlight diverse travel experiences, and encourage responsible visitor behavior.
Headquartered in New Delhi, the Ministry of Tourism is led by Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
