ABOUT

The High Commission of Guyana is Guyana’s principal diplomatic mission in Canada, located in Ottawa. Its main objective is to implement and promote Guyana’s foreign policy by fostering strong bilateral relations between the governments and peoples of Guyana and Canada.

Key functions and services include consular assistance such as processing passports, visas, certificates, police clearances, notarizations, and remigration matters for Guyanese nationals and others. The office also supports the diaspora by providing services and information to Guyanese citizens living in Canada, as well as advocating for the interests of the Guyanese community. In addition, it promotes trade and investment between Guyana and Canada, with a focus on strengthening economic ties.
