The High Commission of The Bahamas in Canada serves as the primary diplomatic mission representing The Bahamas in Canada and is located in Ottawa. Its main functions include supporting Bahamian citizens in Canada, processing visa and passport applications, providing consular support and legal document services, and promoting business and investment relations between The Bahamas and Canada. In April 2023, The Bahamas expanded its consular presence by opening a Consulate General in Toronto. The High Commission and the Consulate General work together to represent Bahamian interests, protect its citizens, and facilitate diplomatic and economic relations between Canada and The Bahamas.
