Havila Voyages is a family-owned Norwegian shipping company that operates the classic coastal route between Bergen and Kirkenes, providing both essential local transport and unique travel experiences along Norway’s dramatic coastline. Founded by Per Sævik, whose maritime journey began in 1957, it is part of the larger Havila Group, which has deep roots in Norway’s maritime industry.

Passengers can choose the full roundtrip, the northbound or southbound leg, or shorter segments, offering flexibility for various travel plans. The company sails the iconic Norwegian Coastal Express route—a 12-day roundtrip covering 2,500 nautical miles and stopping at 34 ports, from bustling cities to remote Arctic communities. They operate four of the newest and most eco-friendly ships on the route: Capella, Castor, Polaris, and Pollux.
