The Guatemala Tourism Institute, known as INGUAT (Instituto Guatemalteco de Turismo), is the country’s tourism authority. It is responsible for regulating, promoting, developing, and ensuring the sustainable growth of tourism in Guatemala.

INGUAT’s mission is to govern, control, and promote sustainable tourism development in Guatemala, working in line with national laws and sectoral plans while coordinating efforts among public, private, and civil society sectors.
