ABOUT
The Flight Safety Foundation (FSF) is an independent, non-profit, international organization dedicated to improving aviation safety worldwide. Founded in 1945 by Jerome Fox "Jerry" Lederer, the FSF aims to enhance global aviation safety through research, auditing, education, advocacy, and communications. As an independent and nonprofit international organization, it identifies safety issues, sets priorities, and catalyzes solutions. Its ability to bridge cultural and political differences has garnered worldwide respect. Currently, it has over 1,000 members across 150 countries and is based in Alexandria, Virginia, with a regional office in Melbourne, Australia.
