Etihad Airways is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates. It was established in July 2003 after a royal decree from Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The airline began commercial operations in November 2003. Since then, it has quickly grown to become one of the world's leading airlines. Etihad is well-known for its premium service and modern fleet.

The airline's headquarters is located in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Its main hub is Abu Dhabi International Airport, also known as Zayed International Airport. Etihad operates a fleet of approximately 85 aircraft, including the Boeing 787 and Airbus A380. It serves over 120 passenger and cargo destinations across six continents.
