The Embassy of Djibouti is the primary mission representing Djibouti in the United States, promoting cooperation in trade, security, and cultural exchange while providing essential support to Djiboutian nationals in the U.S. It offers consular services to Djiboutian citizens, U.S. citizens, and other eligible individuals, including visa and passport issuance (available only to residents of Djibouti and the United States, with processing that may take several weeks), information on Djibouti’s economy and culture, and guidance on citizenship procedures. The embassy also assists Djiboutian nationals with emergencies, legal issues, and registration, helping strengthen ties between both countries and supporting their communities.
