ABOUT

Brightline is the only privately owned and operated intercity passenger rail service in the United States, created to serve trips that are too short to fly and too long to drive. Originally developed as All Aboard Florida by Florida East Coast Industries, the company launched service in 2018 and now operates a 235‑mile corridor connecting Miami and Orlando, with stops in Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach. Trains reach speeds of up to 125 miles per hour on the dedicated segment between Cocoa and Orlando, completing the full journey in about three hours and twenty‑five minutes. With modern stations, comfortable seating, onboard food and beverage options, and simple connections to local transit, it delivers a hospitality‑focused travel experience at a price comparable to driving or flying.

Currently under preliminary construction, Brightline West is expanding Brightline’s rail network westward with the nation’s first true high-speed passenger rail system. The 218-mile, all-electric line will connect Las Vegas and Southern California, featuring a flagship station in Las Vegas and additional stops in Apple Valley, Hesperia, and Rancho Cucamonga. Designed to reach speeds of up to 200 miles per hour, Brightline West will carry passengers from Las Vegas to Rancho Cucamonga in about two hours—roughly half the time of an average drive along the Interstate 15 corridor. Utilizing Siemens-built trains and emphasizing efficiency, safety, and sustainability, this project is redefining intercity rail travel and has been recognized by TIME and Fast Company as one of the most influential and innovative companies in the world.
