The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority is a statutory body. Its goal is to enhance the tourism potential of Antigua and Barbuda. The Authority promotes the twin island state as a unique and quality tourist destination. Its main objective is to increase visitor arrivals. This increase aims to provide sustainable economic growth. The headquarters of the Authority is located in St. John’s, Antigua. The Authority also has three overseas offices in the United Kingdom, United States, and Canada.

Antigua and Barbuda is located in the Caribbean Sea. This twin-island destination offers two unique experiences. Visitors can enjoy ideal temperatures year-round, a rich history, and vibrant culture. There are also exciting excursions, award-winning resorts, and delicious cuisine. The islands feature 365 stunning beaches, one for each day of the year.

Antigua is the largest of the English-speaking Leeward Islands. It covers 108 square miles and offers various sightseeing opportunities. One of the most famous landmarks is Nelson’s Dockyard. This site is a Georgian fort and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The tourism events in Antigua include Antigua Sailing Week, Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta, and the annual Antigua Carnival, known as the Caribbean’s Greatest Summer Festival.

Barbuda, the smaller sister island, is just 27 miles northeast of Antigua. A 15-minute flight connects the two islands. Barbuda boasts an untouched 11-mile stretch of pink sand beach. It is also home to the largest Frigate Bird Sanctuary in the Western Hemisphere.
