Founded in 1982 by the Cree Nation, Air Creebec (YN) is a regional airline 100% owned by the Cree, connecting northern and southern communities across Quebec and Ontario. Since 1988, it has operated scheduled, charter, and cargo services from main bases in Val-d’Or, Montreal, and Timmins, with key northern stations in Eeyou Istchee and James Bay.
Serving 16 destinations, the airline carries over 200,000 passengers annually and employs more than 450 people, with strong First Nations representation. Its fleet of 22 aircraft includes Dash 8-100, Dash 8-300, and ATR 72-500F models, including one ATR 72 cargo variant.
