The Angola Tourism Board (ATB) is the official organization representing Angola internationally in tourism matters, promoting the country as an emerging and relatively undiscovered travel destination. It collaborates with tourism businesses, travel professionals, media, and destination-marketing partners to showcase Angola’s vibrant beauty and rich cultural heritage.
ATB highlights a diverse range of attractions and experiences, including wildlife and photographic safaris, adventure activities such as trekking, fishing, and bird-watching, eco-tourism and community-based experiences, cultural tourism, and remarkable natural landscapes like coastal scenery, deserts, forests, waterfalls, and the Okavango region. Notable highlights include Kalandula Falls, the sand dunes of the Namib Desert in Namibe, the Serra da Leba mountains, and the bustling coastal capital city, Luanda.
To enhance tourism development, ATB has partnered with the Kleber Group and recently launched a refreshed brand identity via its official portal, Visit Angola. For business travelers, Angola offers a growing MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector, supported by the Angola Convention Bureau and infrastructure improvements such as the modern Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport, which improves connectivity and accessibility.
