Established in 1987 in the Philadelphia area by Australian native Ian Swain and American Linda Swain as Swain Australia Tours, the company was rebranded in 2014 to emphasize its focus on personalized, non-escorted travel. In April 2026, Ian Swain II became President and Owner, sharing leadership with his father during the transition.
