It operates as both a development agency and a promotional body, structuring tourism projects and marketing “Destination Gabon.” The agency’s headquarters are located in Libreville, and it maintains tourist information desks at key entry points, including Libreville International Airport, to assist visitors and showcase local tourism and artisanal products. Governed by the Ministry of Sustainable Tourism and Handicrafts, AGATOUR continues to strengthen Gabon’s tourism sector through strategic support, outreach, and coordination with relevant authorities.
