The World Tourism Network (WTN) serves as the voice for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the global travel and tourism industry. Established in 2020, it has expanded into a network of over 26,000 members and observers from more than 133 countries. WTN brings together diverse stakeholders—including ministers, tourism boards, hotels, tour operators, travel agents, and consultants—united by a shared passion to foster a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future for travel worldwide.
WTN’s mission is to amplify local voices in tourism, particularly those of SMEs, through advocacy, collaboration, visibility, and recognition. The organization offers members multiple ways to engage, such as local chapters and expert interest groups focusing on hospitality, wellness, medical tourism, transportation, and more. WTN hosts global events like webinars, think tanks, and summits that encourage meaningful networking and knowledge sharing. Through its advocacy work, the network influences tourism policies and connects members with influential industry leaders and media partners.
