King Khalid International Airport (RUH) is Riyadh’s primary gateway to the world. It is one of the busiest and largest airports in the Middle East, with modern terminals, advanced operations, and strong global connectivity. Located about 35 kilometers north of Riyadh, KKIA covers roughly 375 square kilometers, making it the second-largest airport by land area worldwide. Opened in 1983, it is operated by Riyadh Airports Company.
KKIA serves over 50 airlines and offers flights to over 100 domestic and international destinations. It is a hub for Saudia and flynas, handling over 30 million passengers and 1 million tonnes of cargo annually.
