ABOUT

Techo International Airport (KTI) is Cambodia’s newest primary gateway, located 20 kilometers south of Phnom Penh in Kandal Steung District. It spans 2,600 hectares, placing it among the largest airports globally. The airport opened in September 2025, replacing Phnom Penh International Airport as the capital’s main hub. Built to 4F standards, it can handle the largest commercial aircraft, including the Airbus A380 and Boeing 747-8. The terminal design is inspired by the traditional Cambodian Apsara headdress and features a modern, four-level layout with up to 22 gates. In its first phase, the airport is expected to accommodate up to 13 million passengers per year. The project strengthens national connectivity, links Cambodia to regional and global networks, and establishes a world-class hub for the Kingdom’s long-term development.
