Permanent Mission of Bhutan

ABOUT

The Permanent Mission of Bhutan to the United Nations represents the Bhutanese government at the UN. Based in New York, the mission advances Bhutan’s interests and participation in the UN, including promoting Gross National Happiness as a framework for peace and prosperity.

The mission is concurrently accredited to Canada and serves as Bhutan’s diplomatic representation there. The Royal Bhutanese Embassy in Canada manages diplomatic affairs between Bhutan and Canada and strengthens bilateral relations.
