ABOUT
Arajet (DM) is the flag carrier and largest airline of the Dominican Republic. It is headquartered in Santo Domingo and is known for rapid growth and affordable fares. Founded in 2022, the airline operates as a low-cost carrier with main hubs in Santo Domingo (SDQ) and Punta Cana (PUJ). It serves destinations across North America, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. The company was created to lower the cost of flying in the Caribbean and to connect underserved regions. It aims to boost tourism, make travel easier for Dominicans abroad, and provide direct flights between Santo Domingo and major cities across the Americas.
As of June 2025, Arajet operates a fleet of twelve Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, with more on order. This makes it one of the youngest fleets in the Americas. The airline flies to over 25 destinations, including cities in Argentina, Canada, the United States, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and throughout the Caribbean. Planned route expansions and interline agreements are underway.
