ABOUT
The Nepal Tourism Board was established in 1998 to develop and promote Nepal as a tourist destination. It is a partnership between the government and private sector tourism industry. The Board aims to regulate product development and market Nepal domestically and internationally. Funding is collected from departing foreign passengers at the airport. It consists of 11 members, including government and private sector representatives. The tourism brand of Nepal is “Naturally Nepal, Once is not enough,” which emphasizes the country’s positive image and the need for both consumer retention and acquisition.
