ABOUT

The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture & Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi), established in 2012, oversees the emirate’s culture and tourism by merging key agencies into one. It preserves cultural heritage, promotes sustainable tourism, and supports economic growth. DCT Abu Dhabi manages major museums like the Zayed National Museum and Louvre Abu Dhabi and runs cultural programs, exhibitions, education, and conservation efforts.

The department also preserves traditional heritage through artisan training and architectural projects and integrates new sectors like gaming and esports. It engages in regional cultural collaborations and events to position the emirate as a global cultural and tourist hub.
