Turkish Airlines serves as Türkiye's national flag carrier and ranks among the world's largest airlines by international reach. It flies to over 300 destinations in more than 120 countries. The airline connects Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas through its main hub at Istanbul Airport. Founded in 1933 with five aircraft and 30 employees, it has grown rapidly.
