The Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) is responsible for promoting and marketing the Seychelles islands as a preferred tourist destination. Located in the Indian Ocean, the Seychelles is famous for its beautiful beaches, colourful marine life, and lush tropical scenery. The archipelago consists of 115 islands, with the main ones being Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue.
STB oversees key aspects of the island nation’s tourism industry, including international and digital marketing, destination development, and long-term strategic planning. It manages a network of overseas offices in major source markets to promote Seychelles globally and strengthen trade partnerships. The Board also coordinates local logistics, manages tourism marketing funds, and works closely with industry stakeholders to enhance the visitor experience from arrival to departure.
Training and sustainability are central to STB’s mandate. The Board administers the Seychelles Tourism Academy, formerly the Seychelles Hospitality and Tourism Training College, which equips Seychellois with skills for careers in tourism and hospitality. STB actively supports sustainable and eco-conscious travel, promoting the islands’ biodiversity, cultural heritage, and natural beauty through initiatives such as Kreol Rendezvous for cultural immersion and Sustainable Seychelles for eco-tourism development.
