At Boat Bike Tours, we are dedicated to providing each of our over 18,000 annual guests with a personalized and memorable cycling cruise experience. Every aspect of our trips is designed to ensure a smooth, enjoyable, and unforgettable bike and barge holiday for everyone.

Our journey began more than forty years ago with Channel Cruises Holland (CCH), founded by an owner who operated small barges offering tours to eager travelers. As popularity grew, the fleet expanded, and in 1995, Jan Timmermans took over the company, steering it toward new horizons. In response to increasing demand for Dutch cultural activities, we incorporated cycling into our offerings during the 1990s, launching Boat Bike Tours as a dedicated brand. Since then, BBT has rapidly grown, introducing diverse tours, additional ships, and innovative cycling concepts to attract a global audience.

In 2017, the acquisition of Eurosail Travel strengthened our family, integrating experienced barge operators and owners into the BBT family. Most recently, in May 2024, Boat Bike Tours North America Inc. was established to serve guests across the United States and Canada. Our team, based in Fairfield, Connecticut, is committed to delivering enhanced local service, streamlined booking processes, and convenient payment options in USD. Over the years, we have garnered the loyalty of countless travelers, continuously refining our tours based on feedback and reviews to ensure every journey is exciting, comfortable, and thoughtfully curated.
